We are dipping our toes into the spiritual practice called Lectio Divina, meaning “divine reading”. It is a meditation and prayer practice intended to promote communion with God and increase the knowledge of God’s word.
Wednesdays at 3:30 pm.
All are welcome to explore and learn with us as we “Journey Within” together.
February Book Study
Please join the Justice Ministry Team for a book study in February.
The book is, The Home Place: Memoirs of a Colored Man’s Love Affair with Nature by J. Drew Lanham
This lyrical book synthesizes J. Drew Lanham’s own family history, geography and race into a powerful story of nature.
Lanham is a birder, naturalist and an Alumni Distinguished Professor of Wildlife Ecology and Master teacher at Clemson University. J. Drew Lanham gives a compelling argument for conservation and resilience, recognizing the ties between race and the environment.
The February book study will meet via Zoom at 2:00PM on February 6, 13, 20, and 27th.
